Why this year matters
2015 will not mirror every new question type, but it still trains selection, stamina, and the chapters that keep coming back. Speed with accuracy is the game. Tag silly misses ruthlessly; they repeat on SSC papers.
Count attempts and accuracy by section. A high raw score with a failed sectional cut-off is still a fail in the real exam.
Paper analysis
Snapshot of SSC CHSL 2015
Treat 2015 as a dated snapshot of ssc-chsl difficulty and coverage. Keep the latest brochure for timers and marking, and use this paper for selection pressure and recurring themes.
2015 may feel differently paced than the newest cycle. Borrow stamina and theme lessons; do not copy obsolete section orders or marking quirks.
What this paper stresses
- English error patterns that repeat every year.
- GA current + static mix that coaching dumps mis-weight.
- Quant silly misses at high attempt rates.
- Shift normalisation anxiety that wrecks accuracy.
What to extract before you move on
- Attempt-rate targets per section under current negatives.
- GA static lists that actually appeared (not the 200-page PDF).
- Quant chapters producing silly misses.
- English error rules worth a one-page sheet.
How 2015 sits next to other years
Use 2015 only after SSC CHSL 2024, SSC CHSL 2023, SSC CHSL 2022 are logged. Archive years are for frequency maps, not for predicting tomorrow’s cut-off.
Analyst note: The conducting body did not publish the SSC CHSL 2015 paper. The mock below is original practice in the reported pattern; treat coaching “memory-based” papers as unofficial reconstructions.
SSC CHSL 2015 Tier-I mock paper (modelled on candidate reports)
SSC has not published the CHSL 2015 written paper on its current website (ssc.gov.in only carries a 2011 model CHSL paper), and the old ssc.nic.in archive is not reachable, so no official copy can be hosted. This is an original 20-question mini-paper modelled on analyses of the single objective paper held from 1 November 2015, which had the same four parts.
What candidates reported about 2015
- One objective paper of 200 questions (50 each in English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness) for 200 marks in 2 hours.
- Slots were held on 1 and 15 November and 6 December 2015; reviews rated the paper easy to moderate overall.
- A wrong answer cost 0.25 mark.
- English was vocabulary-heavy: a 10-question cloze test and about 8 synonym/antonym items, plus idioms, one-word substitution, spellings and error spotting.
- Reasoning leaned on odd-one-out and analogy (about 9 each), then letter/number series, coding-decoding, age and direction questions.
- Quantitative Aptitude had about 15 arithmetic questions, two DI sets, and 5-6 each of algebra, trigonometry, mensuration and geometry; it was called the toughest part.
- General Awareness was mostly static GK (history, biology, chemistry, geography, polity, economy), with science questions the hardest.
Suggested time: 12 minutes. The real 2015 paper gave 2 hours for 200 questions. This 20-question mock keeps that pace: 12 minutes for all four parts, answered in any order. Each question has four options; +1 for a correct answer, −0.25 for a wrong answer, 0 if left blank.

How to sit SSC CHSL 2015
- Work through the mock paper above under exam timing. It follows the reported pattern, but the questions are our own.
- Sit the paper under current brochure rules (timers, negatives, NAT/MSQ norms), even if 2015’s interface looked different.
- When the clock ends, stop. Review should take at least as long as the attempt.
- Fill the error log the same day: section, topic, and miss type (concept, silly, time, or misread).
- Next session, repair only logged items. Then pick another year from the decade list.
