Of the 55 Production and Industrial Engineering questions, 25 are worth 1 mark and 30 worth 2 marks; 18 of the 2-mark questions are NAT.
Against GATE PI 2022, MCQs moved by +7 and NATs by -7, MSQs by +0.
0 questions are multi-select (MSQ): they score only when the full correct set is chosen and nothing wrong, with no negative marking.

- PI mixes mechanical-style numericals with management-style ones (inventory, queueing, forecasting), so build separate formula sheets for the two kinds.
- NAT answers in operations research and inventory depend on rounding rules; use the range printed in the key.
- General Aptitude is 10 questions and 15 marks, easy to rush.
