## What candidates reported

These notes are from analyses of Test 1 on 6 December 2025. The two later tests used the same structure, but the questions were different.

**General English.** No reading comprehension. Most of the section was fill-in-the-blanks, testing grammar and vocabulary, with a couple of analogies, passive voice, parts of speech and a root-word question. It was rated easy.

**Analytical & Logical Reasoning.** No sets: every question stood alone. The verbal side had course of action, implicit statements, a syllogism, cause and effect and a critical reasoning question. The rest was series, linear and matrix arrangements, family trees, calendars, coding, a clock question and binary logic. Two of the series questions were rated difficult.

**Quantitative, DI & DS.** All 20 questions were maths, with no DI or DS. About seven were arithmetic (percentages, averages, time and work, pipes, speed, profit and loss, interest), five modern maths (progressions, probability, permutations, logarithms, Venn diagrams), three geometry, three algebra and two number system. This was the hardest section for most candidates.

The mock below follows this mix in 20 questions. The questions are our own, not the questions from the exam.

## How to practise with this mock

1. Set a 20-minute timer and attempt all 20 questions in any order, as SNAP has no sectional timer.
2. Mark yourself as SNAP does: +1 for a correct answer and −0.25 for a wrong one.
3. Note any question that took you more than a minute, even if you got it right.
4. Read the explanation for every miss and log it by section, topic and reason.
5. Then sit the 2024 mock, and practise a few ethics-style questions for the 2026 test.

## SNAP 2026 changes the sections

SNAP 2026 is on 13, 19 and 26 December 2026. According to snaptest.org, it keeps 60 questions in 60 minutes but splits them differently: General English 10, Analytical & Logical Reasoning 20, Quantitative, DI & DS 20, and a new section, Ethics, Morality and Values, with 10. Past papers still cover 50 of the 60 questions. The course-of-action questions in recent papers are the closest practice for the ethics section.

## FAQ

### Is the official SNAP 2025 question paper available?
No. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) does not publish SNAP question papers or answer keys. Papers you find online are memory-based. This page has a labelled mock paper that follows the reported 2025 pattern.

### When was SNAP 2025 held?
SNAP 2025 was held on three dates: 6, 14 and 20 December 2025. Candidates could sit more than one test, and the higher score counted.

### What was the SNAP 2025 exam pattern?
The SNAP 2025 bulletin set 60 questions in 60 minutes: 15 in General English, 25 in Analytical and Logical Reasoning, and 20 in Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency. Each correct answer was worth 1 mark, and each wrong answer cost a quarter of a mark.

### How hard was SNAP 2025?
Most analyses of Test 1 on 6 December rated it easy to moderate. Quant was the hardest section for most candidates. English had no reading comprehension, and Quant in Test 1 had no data interpretation or data sufficiency.

### Is SNAP 2026 different from SNAP 2025?
Yes. snaptest.org lists four sections for SNAP 2026: General English (10), Analytical and Logical Reasoning (20), Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency (20), and a new Ethics, Morality and Values section (10). It is still 60 questions in 60 minutes, on 13, 19 and 26 December 2026.
